Plunge into the fantastical world of dragons, castles, fairies, and more! Campers will have the opportunity to make a pet dragon, fairy friends, or design their own knight! Find your quest at this magical camp.
MAPS & HIDDEN TREASURES
JUNE 17 - 21
X marks the spot, but how will we get there? Let’s make a map, imagine new worlds, and make our own treasure chest to hide! Learn the mapmaker’s ways and make a variety of maps with paints, markers, and printing techniques.
ANCIENT EGYPT
JUNE 24 - 28
Go back in time to Ancient Egypt and unfold the mysteries of the pharaohs. Create your own mummies, pyramids, hieroglyphs, and cat sculptures! We may even make our own papyrus!
MIXED MEDIA EXPLORATION
JULY 1 - 5

Explore a variety of materials for your own mixed media masterpieces! Paints, clay, stamps, pencils? So much to choose from in our studio and all you need is some creativity to make something great!
PAINTS & PRINTS
JULY 8 -12
There’s more than one way to use paint! Explore watercolors, paint stixs, and all sorts of paints by making prints with different objects on paper or clay.
DEEP SEA DIVING
JULY 15 - 19
Did you know most of our oceans are unexplored? Dive deep into the dark depths of the sea and find out what unusual creatures lurk there. Create magnificent sea creatures or terrifying sea monsters with our studio’s many materials!
UPCYCLED FASHION
JULY 22 - 26
Upcycle your old clothes or shoes into something innovative and funky. Explore the many textures, prints, and colors that make up our clothes. There’s so much you can make with fabric! Paint it, cut it, stitch it, or add fun appliques to make something new to you!
BUILDINGS & ARCHITECTURE
JULY 29 - AUGUST 2
Inspired by architecture and our very own skyline? Build and design your own city or house, or learn to draw a cityscape! We can even build a cardboard fort with all you’ll learn at this camp!
Open Studio Studio Camp Information
How to register
Find the camp or camps you are interested and register each child. What is great is that our camps are weekly and you can choose as many camps for the summer that suits your schedule.
Pick up policy
Parents/Guardians are responsible for picking up children promptly at the time the camp is scheduled to end. We cannot supervise children for an extended period of time when the camp ends. If there is an issue with picking up on time please make sure to contact our office at 847 - 475-0390
Payment
Camp payments are due in full at the time of registration.
Class Cancellation
If a camp changes by Open Studio Project or is cancelled we will notify you in advance by email and you will receive a full refund. You may also apply your payment to another camp if you choose.
If you register for a camp and your plans have changed we will need 2 weeks notice and we will refund you in full minus the service fee. If you cancel a week before camp begins we will refund half of your registration fee minus the service fee. No refunds will be given if you cancel less than a week. If you miss some camp days you will not be refunded for those days missed.
Unless the camp is cancelled by Open Studio Project a $10 service fee will be charged for refunds.
Photographs & Videotaping
Our campers may be photographed or videotaped. These images may appear in our social media pages or future promotional materials.
