Explore the world of pirates as we sail into the seven seas! Create maps, ships and hidden treasures using clay, paint and a variety of mediums for your little matey’s swashbuckling adventures.
DINOSAUR ROAR
JUNE 17 - 21
Let’s travel back 2.5 million years and take a walk with your very own dinosaurs. We will draw, paint, & sculpt clay dinosaurs that once roamed the earth, and perhaps invent a few of our own!
COSMIC CREATIONS
JUNE 24 - 28
Blast off into outer space and let your imagination take off. What is out of this world? You decide! Create whole galaxies, alien friends, and spaceships with paint and clay to blast off into your astronaut’s adventure!
UNDER THE SEA
JULY 1 - 5
No class on July 4 ( Fee is prorated)
Get your scuba gear, dive deep into the ocean, and discover what lies at its depths. Use our fun art materials to create schools of fish, sea turtles, coral, and so much more!
WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE
JULY 8 - 12
Roam the jungles, woods, and deserts to find where the wild things are! Have a roaring time creating wild creatures with paint, paper, and clay!
SQUISH, SPLASH, MIX
JULY 15 - 19
Like paint? We got you! Young campers will learn all about many types of paints. We will mix colors, use model magic, and have a squish, splash, mixing good time!
MARVELOUS MACHINES
JULY 22 - 26
Put your gears in motion and start tinkering. Will it fly? Will it roll? Learn about different machines and create your own with cardboard and found objects!
ALL THINGS MESSY
JULY 29 - AUGUST 2
Be careful, this might get messy. Perfect for artists who like to get messy with their art, campers will experiment with clay, paper, and paint and create their own messy masterpieces.
PAINTS & PRINTS
AUGUST 5 -9
While tools are great for making art, hands and feet work just fine! Explore color, paints, and print making materials and make your own print to hang on the fridge!
Open Studio Studio Camp Information
How to register
Find the camp or camps you are interested and register each child. What is great is that our camps are weekly and you can choose as many camps for the summer that suits your schedule.
Pick up policy
Parents/Guardians are responsible for picking up children promptly at the time the camp is scheduled to end. We cannot supervise children for an extended period of time when the camp ends. If there is an issue with picking up on time please make sure to contact our office at 847 - 475-0390
Payment
Camp payments are due in full at the time of registration.
Toilet Training
All campers must be toilet trained before the beginning an Open Studio Project camp. Pull ups will be okay.
Class Cancellation
If a camp changes by Open Studio Project or is cancelled we will notify you in advance by email and you will receive a full refund. You may also apply your payment to another camp if you choose.
If you register for a camp and your plans have changed we will need 2 weeks notice and we will refund you in full minus the service fee. If you cancel a week before camp begins we will refund half of your registration fee minus the service fee. No refunds will be given if you cancel less than a week. If you miss some camp days you will not be refunded for those days missed.
Unless the camp is cancelled by Open Studio Project a $10 service fee will be charged for refunds.
Photographs & Videotaping
Program participants may be photograped or videotaped. These images may appear in future promotional materials. Registering your child gives us permission to use their photo.
