Hope studied at The School of Art Institute of Chicago where you would find her in the foundry department or in the fashion department fabric printing. Upon graduating she started Yasuko Design a company that creates custom murals for residential and commercial clients. The business expanded to creating tile mosaics and working with interior designers to create custom upholstery and soft furnishings. She is still busy creating murals & interesting custom projects for her clients.

She is the Executive Director of Young Evanston Artist Foundation (Yea!) for the last 6 years, a not for profit which runs a yearly event in Evanston drawing over 4000 attendees which features the visual, media arts as well as choral, band and orchestra from all public, private & parochial schools in the City of Evanston.

She has served 3 years on the Evanston Art Council and Public Arts Committee.
