A workshop designed to support social workers, counselors, therapists, educators, medical professionals, body workers, first responders, community organizers–any helping practitioner whose work is high stress, emotionally demanding, and prone to burn-out. Developing a sustainable creative practice is a simple and effective way to release stress, restore empathy, and create balance and congruence within our personal and professional lives.
Using basic art materials and reflective journaling, this 3-hour workshop invites participants to engage the Open Studio Process of intuitive art making and writing within a supportive small group format. This workshop blends new and experienced Open Studio Process practitioners, providing an opportunity for all to create and share in an environment of supportive non-interference.
